Roll is one of Happy Chaos' Special Attacks, appearing in Guilty Gear -Strive-.

Overview

Chaos tucks into a ball and rolls forward. If he's next to the opponent, he can roll through them and switch sides of the screen.

Details

Since Roll has such a low profile while travelling, it's able to avoid most high and mid-level attacks, especially projectiles like Stun Edge, Even Overdrive Attacks like Kenjyu.

Trivia

Many other fighting game characters make use of a rolling mechanic like Chaos:
- The King of Fighters' Emergency Evasion has been a staple mechanic since The King of Fighters '96, though some characters do have Special Moves dedicated to rolls, namely Daimon's Chou Ukemi and Shingo's Idou Yoke.
- Street Fighter's Ken, Akuma & Sean share Zenpou Tenshin.
